We only collect data necessary to organize and conduct live sports auctions. We never sell your personal information or player rosters to third parties. All payment processing is handled through PCI-DSS Level 1 certified gateways (Razorpay) with end-to-end encryption.
1 Information We Collect
When you use AuctionBest as an organizer, franchise owner, or participating player, we may collect the following types of information:
- Account & Contact Data: Name, email address, phone number, organization name, and hashed login passwords.
- Tournament & Team Details: Tournament titles, franchise team names, budget limits, franchise logos, and assigned bidding managers.
- Player Profile & Registration Data: Player full name, role (Batsman, Bowler, All-Rounder, Wicket Keeper), batting/bowling style, base price, mobile number, and uploaded profile photos.
- Live Auction Logs: Timestamps of live bids placed, winning bid amounts, unsold records, and purse balance deductions.
- Billing & Transaction Records: Order IDs, transaction reference IDs, payment method details, and subscription tier history. (Note: We do not store credit card numbers or CVV codes).
2 How We Use Your Information
We process collected data for legitimate business and tournament operations, including:
- Orchestrating live real-time bidding rounds, projector screen feeds, and OBS livestream lower-thirds.
- Generating verified digital player draft passes and automated WhatsApp roster cards.
- Generating official payment receipts and tournament summary reports in PDF/CSV format.
- Providing technical support, service maintenance notifications, and anti-fraud monitoring.
3 Payment Security & PCI-DSS Compliance
All online payments made on AuctionBest are routed securely through Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-authorized and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway.
Payment data (including Card numbers, NetBanking credentials, and UPI MPINs) is encrypted using bank-grade TLS/SSL encryption and processed directly on Razorpay's secure servers. AuctionBest never accesses, views, or stores your private financial credentials.
4 Cookies & Browser Storage
We utilize essential session cookies and HTML5 local storage strictly to:
- Keep you securely authenticated in the organizer control panel and auction room.
- Remember your UI preferences (such as Dark/Light theme mode and audio sound effects toggle).
- Maintain local real-time sync states during OBS browser source rendering.
5 Your Data Rights & Deletion Requests
Under applicable data protection frameworks (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and global GDPR standards), you have the right to:
- Access & Export: Download your full tournament roster, bid history, and tax invoices anytime.
- Correction: Update player names, photos, base prices, and team allocations prior to or during the draft.
- Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request permanent deletion of your account and archived tournament records by emailing privacy@auctionbest.in.
6 Children & Youth Tournaments
For school, academy, or junior youth sports auctions, tournament organizers must ensure that parental or guardian authorization is obtained before uploading photographs or player details of participants under 18 years old.
